You have heard the name Paris Hilton before, not only is she one of several heirs to the Hilton Hotel fortune, she is a model, a socialite, a reality TV star, a movie star and an entrepreneur. By now Paris Hilton has done it all. She has even has her hand in the perfume industry. In the early part of May 2004, Paris became involved with a company called Parlux Fragrances. They wanted Paris to come up with a perfume she could endorse; the perfume would be called Paris Hilton.

As the story goes, Paris ended up mixing the scents together herself and came up with the fragrance. In true Paris form she described the perfume as “It’s really hot”.

The launch of the Paris Hilton perfume was of course a success. Anything with the name Paris Hilton on it will sell like hotcakes. It did great also due in part of the release date just before Christmas in 2004. The company Parlux had a 47 percent increase in sales.

Paris then released cologne for men, which again did very well. Paris has as many men admirers as she does women so sales either way were going to do very well and that they did.

Another perfume called Heiress by Paris Hilton was released in October 2006, did very well. Paris keeps her scents as floral and light. The lighter the better, more women prefer the lighter floral and citrus scents as opposed to the heavier more woodsy smells.

We think the Paris Hilton range of perfumes and colognes will continue as very popular brands to purchase for the many celebrity fans she has, male and female. paris will undoubtedly develop the range further.
